New Momentus XT 500GB hard drive

I have got a new Momentus XT hard drive in my laptop. 2.5" of hybrid joy. 


The drive has 4GB of SSD memory and 500GB of storage space. Windows 7Ultimate found it with no problems and it is a lot faster to do things from the drive than past 5400 rpm drives. There is a noticeable difference with the speed from the 7200rpm drives also.

MySQL and PHP and iphone devlopment

I need to make a decision... tech support is becoming a drag. Everyone wants everything now or in 10 mins and complains.


I either have my own support company, I can make my own decisions with my own company or I can become an iphone developer, however for my part time college course I'm needing to do MySQL and PHP development. These are all sought after traits however and I think they'd be good in my own company as I could use the skills I teach myself to get bigger in the IT world...


I just hate making money for other people and getting paid a pittance for the "pleasure".

iphone 5 in June?

I've seen rumours that the iphone 5 is due out in June! It'll be interesting to see if it is and what new features it'll have.


I was thinking about buying the iphone 4. 


Mobile App development would be superb area to get into.

Ice One Racing

From the franchise of Kimi Räikkönen we will see the birth of a new game series coming to the iphone, ipad and other smart phones.
Kimi is actually doing some Nascar and of course he is involved in the World Rally Championship too. It should be interesting to see what is produced.

This game looks really cool, XRebirth: HD video here


It will be realeased in the Q4 of 2011, so you might be waiting a short while. It has been developed by Egosoft a developer from Germany.


You will play a person who is with a female companion, you will be trying to stop the universe from killing itself and controlling the world around you in a battle worn space ship.

Almost without a leg

My knee is hurting a LOT after a fall at Hamsterley, luckily nothing is broken as I did go to hospital. But it makes you think, I really don't want to lose the use of my legs!


Off to hospital this morning to get my dressings changed.
